Validate a United States population

/api/v1/populations/validate

Checks the estimated size of a United States demographic population. If it is smaller than number_of_records, the response proposes a broader population and shows the effect of changing one trait at a time.

Interpretation. Compare original, suggestion, and one_trait_change to find the smallest defensible relaxation that reaches the requested sample size.

Do not infer. Estimated size is not guaranteed recruitment yield or proof of representativeness. Keep traits that are necessary for the research question even if removing them increases the pool.
