Classify response scale direction
POST/api/v1/populations/statement-direction
Classifies each statement as positive or negative from the ordering of
its response labels. Use it to detect reversed Likert items before
analysis.
Interpretation. positive means larger numeric values express more of
the named construct. negative means the scale should be reverse-scored
for that interpretation.
Do not infer. Direction is not sentiment, agreement quality, or evidence that a statement measures the intended construct.
