Start a population recommendation

/api/v1/populations/location-recommendation

Starts an asynchronous recommendation for demographic boundaries and, for United States requests, candidate states relevant to the research question. Poll the returned job_id with the matching GET endpoint.

Interpretation. A pending or running status means the recommendation is not ready. Use the completed result as a proposed starting population and review its rationale and warnings.

Do not infer. A recommendation does not prove sample feasibility, representativeness, or causal identification. Validate the proposed population before launching an experiment.
